Greyhound has a strict no pets policy on their buses, with the sole exception being trained guide dogs assisting passengers with disabilities. For a guide dog to be allowed onboard a Greyhound coach, the owner must be able to present certification that confirms the dog is properly trained to perform the necessary service. This ensures the guide dog will remain under control at all times during the bus journey. Advance notification that a certified guide dog will be travelling allows the Greyhound crew to prepare accordingly as well.
For the comfort and safety of all passengers, Greyhound maintains a strict no smoking, drugs, or alcohol policy on their buses. Lighting up any tobacco products, using illegal substances, or drinking alcoholic beverages is expressly prohibited at all times while onboard. Any passenger found to be in violation of these rules, such as visibly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, may be denied boarding or immediately disembarked at the next safe stop without compensation or refund.
