Although it’s important to keep in mind, we can’t always guarantee the availability of onboard entertainment.
If you have a medical condition or disability, it’s always best to consult with your doctor before hitting the road. For passengers with disabilities or those using wheelchairs, we suggest letting our reservations team know about your situation when you’re securing your ticket. Just a note, for the safety and comfort of all our passengers, we might have to say no to those who are unwell or to women in the later stages of pregnancy. We’re all about making sure everyone has a safe and comfortable journey.
If your child is under 12 years, they’ll need to have an adult with them. And if they’re under 36 months, they can ride for free as long as they’re happy to sit on your lap. For the older kids, 36 months and up, they’ll need an adult ticket.
While we strive to stick to our scheduled timetables, we can’t guarantee arrival or departure times. In case of a delay or cancellation, we’ll do our best to rebook your ticket for an alternative date and time that suits you.
Unfortunately, Greyhound isn’t able to take responsibility for lost or damaged luggage or personal items. We can’t stress enough how important it is for all passengers to double-check and make sure they’ve got all their personal items with them before stepping off the bus.
Greyhound allows each passenger to bring along two pieces of regular baggage, as long as the total weight doesn’t exceed 25kg. If you’re planning to bring along more luggage than the allowed limit, it’ll be classified as excess baggage. This means you’ll need to cover an additional fee, which can be settled either when you’re making your reservation or during the boarding process.
We are giving away R2000 every weekday until the 30th of September 2023 with our Greyhound Cash Grab Competition. Follow us on social media to find out how to enter and win big!
