As long as it is more than 24 hours before your departure time, you can cancel your trip without penalty. You can either get a refund or reschedule your trip, but there will be a R50.00 administrative fee.
If you’re cutting it close and it’s less than 24 hours until departure, you can still reschedule, but refunds are off the table. The administration fee this time around will be R70.00. We cannot issue a refund or reschedule your ticket if it is within one hour of your bus’s departure time.
As part of our policy, we permit each passenger to bring up to two pieces of regular baggage. To keep everything fair and make sure there’s enough room for everyone, we kindly ask that the total weight of your items doesn’t cross the 25 kg mark.
If your luggage weighs over 25kg, don’t stress! We can handle it. Just remember, there’s a slight charge for bags that go beyond our weight limit. You’re free to pay this fee when you’re booking your tickets or even while you’re getting on board.

We can only welcome aboard trained guide dogs that are certified to assist their owners. We have specific guidelines for this, and it’s always at Greyhound’s discretion. Unfortunately, we can’t allow any other pets or animals on our coaches or shuttle buses. We hope you understand – it’s all about ensuring a comfortable and safe journey for all our passengers.
